Treat yourself for Christmas!

Hi everyone! So, now that the new Etude House Etoinette line is out, everyone has been ravaging about these products. Meanwhile however, Innisfree released a bunch of really sweet Christmas sets that I think have gone under a little in the Etude House hype.

They are not too expensive, but I think they make great gifts!

The collection consists of 6 different sets, each focusing on a different type of make up, beauty or home decor.

What do you think about Innisfree's Christmas collection? Would you get it for someone else or keep it all to yourself?

To be all honest, I already thought about getting all of them, but I would be keeping the candle for sure. <3

Introducing: Seoulpicks

Hi everyone. :) Last week was a little exhausting, but I recovered really well during the weekend. In Austria, the Christmas markets are about to open again and I can't wait to get some chocolate coated fruits like every year. <3
Anyway, today I am going to introduce you to a website, that I wanted to write about for a long time, for the simple reason that the stuff they are selling is just beyond cute!

So, first of all, I am a very big fan of cute stationery and this is exactly why and how I stumbled upon Seoulpicks. I was on the hunt for a not-too-plain desk organizer, but I did not want to spend like 50$ on shipping costs and Seoulpicks helped me out a lot on that.

The company is stationed in South Korea, but they ship internationally with some exceptions. :)

Cute stationery is not the only thing that Seoulpicks has to offer, however. They also sell a great variety of fashion, beauty products, as well as fun accessories.
  • For clothes, they sell typical asian streetwear that would fit really well into any Ulzzang wardrobe, depending on personal taste of course. :)
  • Beauty products-wise, Seoulpicks does not have such a big variety as other onlinestores that sell Korean make up and skincare products, but there are certainly some pieces that I am yet to see at other onlineshops. They also have a men-section, which surprised me positively, considering the size of their store.
  • The gifts section certainly got to be my favourite. :) You can get all kinds of geeky accessory or also more or less useful home decor like these Whale Toothbrush holders. I think this section is suited best if you are looking for Christmas gifts or similar.
Very easy to navigate, very informative and a sleek and modern design. I like it. :)

As I already mentioned previously, Seoulpicks ships to any country in the world. For some, however, only Air Parcel is available as shipping method.
For my order, I chose Air Parcel because I considered EMS a little overpriced. My parcel arrived in about 10 working days and was really nicely wrapped. :) Would definitely order again!

So, for those of you who are curious about what I ordered, here it is :)

It was actually soo easy to put together!

Where do you like to shop for Christmas presents? Let me know! <3

Review: H&M Lip Balm - Vanilla Cake

Hi everyone! Soo... it has been almost a full week since my last post and I can't really think of any proper excuse for that. Well, I have been busy with books. :) I've read the whole Divergent series + Brave New World and I already have plenty of new books. :o I absolutely love reading in the cold months of the year. <3

So, when I was at H&M for the last time, I picked up this lip balm I was really curious about because it said "Vanilla Cake". I am generally very curious about the new Make Up line that H&M has recently released here. :) I might pick some products up to review if you would be interested in them, too.

So, let's jump straight into the review:

1 lip balm contains 17gramms of product

So, to be all honest, I have to admit that the packaging was a biiig factor when purchasing this. I think the design looks really cool. However, the packaging is a little impractical. The lid does not seem to close as firmly as I would like it to, so I am a little afraid to take it with me.
Also, you will have to dip your fingers into the lipbalm every single time you use it, which is a hygenic no-go for me when it comes to products I use a lot.

I was pleasantly surprised by how the lipbalm really tastes like vanilla cake. :) It reminds me a bit of those vanilla cookies you can get during Christmas time.

Swatches and Moisture:

I am sooo sorry about this but I actually forgot to take swatches of this lipbalm on my lips. q^q
I applied it right before taking the pictures but I think you can see how well it moisturizes just as well on my hand. :)

True to flavour
Nice moisture

Not very hygienic
The lid does not close very firmly

Price: 2€ for 2g. Not that bad

Repurchase? Probably not but maybe I'll try some different flavours.

What do you think about H&M's Make up products? Are they worth investing in? :)

P.S.:  We got cupcakes today <3

Outfit: Crazy Cat Lady

Hi everyone! It's soo good to have friday off, you don't even know how much I love long weekends. :) So, the story behind this outfit is that I really wanted to have this small, black cat bag they had at H&M in Vienna but I did not get it on the spot. When I checked the H&M in my hometown, it still had loads of them in stock, as well as this super cute skirt. :)
The cardigan I'm wearing and I are in a love / hate relationship that I maybe tell you at a later date haha.

I'm wearing no shoes with this outfit for the simple reason that I had to shoot it in my living room. The weather outside was soo bad but I really wanted to shoot it today. ;_;

Cardigan: eBay. Check the colours and you know why it's a love / hate relationship haha
Skirt: H&M
Bag: H&M
Overknees: Primark
Snood / Scarf: eBay I love this one! I have it in red too and it's a perfect basic.

Have you caught onto the cat trend yet? ;)

Review: Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I can't really manage to keep up my 2-posts-a-week scheme. T_T The Divergent series has been doing evil things to me lately... I can hardly put those books down, you got to believe me! *lol* Well, enough of my ever so similar excuses.

Today I'll post a long overdue review of the Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream. I don't remember telling you I got it but that might have been because I didn't expect it to arrive after more than 6 weeks of shipping.

(Source: rinishop)

This is actually the first BB cream I've ever used so keep that in mind when you read my review! Before that, I used a drugstore foundation (I forgot the name, sorry! Might edit that later though) that felt very heavy on my skin and that broke me out a lot! I didn't notice it was my foundation until I switched to this BB cream actually.

First of all, it was very difficult to take proper pictures of the box the BB cream came in, for the simple reason that it the pattern is a very shimmery golden that my camera's flash had problems with. .__.
Since you won't be able to read the ingredients lists on my pictures, I provided a link. :)
----> Ingredients

with and without flash.

The BB cream claims to provide SPF 30, wrinkle care and whitening

The 50ml tube stands on its own. :) I love the pink pattern they printed onto them.

Korean instructions

The dispenser. As you can see, some BB cream does gather around its edges after a couple of uses, so you'll need to wipe it after every time you use it in order to prevent this from happening!

I actually really like it a lot how the tube stands on its own. :) I think that is very practical. The dispenser is very well made in my opinion and the amount it dispenses is just enough for my face (excluding my forehead! I never use make up on my forehead).

This is what you'll get when you use the pump 1 time.

This picture is supposed to show how well this BB cream fits my skin tone.

To be perfectly honest: I think I found the perfect match for my skintone! My skin is very fair so I used to have troubles finding a foundation light enough to look natural on me.

My bare face ^o^ This is how my skin looks like if nothing has been applied on it beforehand

Close up of my spots to give you an idea how well they get covered up by this BB cream.

One full application (excluding forehead).

I also covered up my lips that day because I was going to do gradient lips. ^^

Without feeling too heavy, this BB cream will provide you with heavy -> medium coverage. It is also buildable, so if you need to apply a bit extra BB cream on your spots, that's possible without getting the caky look we all love. ;)

As this BB cream fits my skin tone perfectly, I can't really tell you how well it matches in the first five minutes after application. :S

Staying power:
Pretty good, I only noticed that it faded a bit after I've done sports. If you're having a cold, it might rub off a litttle around your nose area, too.

The finish of the Triple the Solution BB cream is dewy so if you would rather have a BB cream with a matte finish, I'd advise you to get a different one.

Even though the BB cream does contain a fragrance (Cananga Odorata Flower Extract), it's not that prominent. It smells more like typical make up than of anything else and that smell fades after 1-2 minutes.

The BB cream is very moisturizing to my skin but I haven't noticed that it would be sticky in any way.

None. :) I think the Lioele BB cream actually helped me to clean up my skin over the time.

Whitening / Wrinkle care:
My skin does look like there is less redness than a couple of weeks ago (when I started using it). I cannot really tell you how well the whitening effect actually works, since I'm testing this BB cream in Winter and not in Summer.
As to wrinkles: I haven't noticed any yet. ;)

Repurchase? Definitely! This is my everyday foundation now and I wouldn't want to miss it ever again.

Where to buy? rinishop for 19USD (slow shipping)

What do you prefer to wear in the cold months? BB creams or typical foundations? I'd love to know! <3

Review: Missha Love Secret Handcreme Peony Rose - Winter Special Edition

Hello everyone! :) I'm really sorry for the lack of posts lately but ever since November started, I've kinda switched to hermit mode. .__. Which means that I read an awful lot (you will soon know what I read since I won't be able not to post a spoiler free review) and also that many of my exams are coming up now and I gotta study. Believe me, I'd rather not. *lol*

Anyway, I found the time to bring you my long promised review of the Missha Love Secret handcreme in Peony Rose. :) This is actually the last of my items from my f2plus1 haul.

Source: f2plus1

The winter special edition of Missha's Love Secret handcreme comes in the scents Peony Rose, Cherry Blossom, Lemongrass, Green Grape and White Cotton. :) When I ordered mine, almost all of the scents were sold out so I got Peony Rose. I really want to know what White Cotton smells like, though.

The ingredients list is fully in Korean. :(

I absolutely love the christmas flair that this handcreme has. :) Each design is special in its own way and I really like the candle print they used for Peony Rose. The candles are golden glittering just like the cap, as you can maybe tell from the picture. :) This makes the tube look really sophisticated in my opinion.

When I first opened this handcreme, I had to remove a plastic seal from Missha from the back of the tube. I did, however, forget to take a picture of it. :S

On the picture it looks quite big but in reality, the tube is actually quite small. :) It is really travel friendly, which is actually something I'm looking for in handcreams when I buy them, since I most often apply them on the go.

I don't really know if you can tell it from the pictures, but after applying a pea size amount of handcreme on my dry hands, the skin feels really well moisturized and soft. :)
Usually, my hands feel much dryer than in these pictures, so when it starts snowing, this creme will be of much use for me.

To my surprise, my skin absorbed the creme really quickly and after a few minutes it only felt really smooth and not sticky at all. This is definitely an improvement to the previous creme I used as it left my hands sticky for more than 10 minutes. :S

Peony Rose's scent is really strong. After application, you will be able to smell it, even if you don't hold your hands directly next to your face. :) It becomes more subtle after a while, however, so it's not a big deal.
The scent itself reminds me a bit of the soaps my granny used to give me. I'd definitely recommend you to try a different scent if you're not a fan of this!

Absorbing really quickly
Travel friendly
Moisturizes well

The smell (a bit. :S)
Ingredients are only listed in Korean

Repurchase? If its still available, yes, but in a different scent. :)

Where to buy: f2plus1 for 4USD(27ml).

What's your go-to handcreme for the cold months? Let me know! <3

Introducing: Beautynetkorea aka f2plus1

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well! :)
Now that Halloween has passed, I'm in a surprisingly good mood and I can't wait for Christmas to come! I used to be one of those people who get easily annoyed if they see Christmas decorations in November but this year I'm in a completely different mood.

Even though I still have some products left to review, I thought I'd write about something a bit different today. I would like to introduce you my go-to online store for Korean Cosmetics and Skincare:

also known as

When I made my first purchase at said eBay store, I did not actually know that they also run a website. I was pleasantly surprised when I followed the link on the little business card that came with my products.

On the website itself, you can filter the products by popularity, type and brand. Beautynetkorea also offers a category dedicated to Men's items. :) I think that the website is really well structured and if you really can't find the exact item that you're looking for, there is a search panel on the top right to solve that problem.

The eBay store has a very similar structure to the website. :)

Variety of Products
Beautynetkorea earns a big plus for the diversity of items they offer. There is no item I could think of that I did not find in their assortment. This is actually something that has been bugging me for a long time with other stores because if I place an order, I really prefer to place it at one place and receive one big parcel instead of many little ones. ^-^

Service & Shipping
For my first order, I chose the free Economy shipping option that the eBay store had to offer and the only thing I can say is that I was very pleased with it. My items were shipped the next day and they gave me a free tracking number. After 7 business days, my order arrived already. ( I can only speak of my experiences, this might not be 100% accurate for you if you live in a different country. )
Beautynetkorea generally offers free shipping worldwide on all their products.

Special offers & Discounts
At the moment, Beautynetkorea has a big fall discount event going on. What this means is that basically everything in their store is on sale at the moment!

Besides that, they also offer special discounts for registered members like the "1+1 Deal". This means that if you buy 2 pieces of the e.g. Etude House Dear My Jelly Lips Talk, you will get up to 30% off! This does not apply to all products but you can check out which items it applies to by clicking the "Buy 2 and get up to 30% off" tab on the Beautynetkorea website. :)

Beautynetkorea provides an extra category if you're interested in buying wholesale products. :)

A handfull of free samples are included with every purchase. :) If you're interested in purchasing some samples, this can also be done on the website. You get similar deals to their wholesale category, so you can -for example- purchase 10 samples of the Tonymoly tomatox magic massage pack for 4USD. :)

Have you ever ordered from Beautynetkorea or f2plus1? What are your favourite online stores for beauty products? Please let me know! <3
